An in fieri version of Anna Chirescu‘s performance monte verdura, commissioned by the MBAL, will be presented at the Villa Medici in Rome on July 3rd as part of the Festival des Cabanes.
The monte verdura / in fieri project by Anna Chirescu, in partnership with the MBAL, gives body and voice to the utopias of the pioneers of Monte Verità, exploring their heritage and our link with nature. A vegetarian and choral creation. monte verdura / in fieri marks the starting point of a month-long residency at Villa Medici, in partnership with the Ménagerie de verre. This stage will launch a wider search for a group piece, at the crossroads of performance, history and utopia.
