The 3rd volume in MBAL’s editorial collection, Follow the Crackling Sound<\/em>, was designed to coincide with the exhibition of the same title by Michael G\u00fcnzburger, as part of the 11th Triennale de l’art imprim\u00e9 contemporain<\/a> (12.10.24 – 16.03.25).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Like the previous volumes with the graphic touch of Nicolas Polli, this edition goes beyond the traditional concept of the exhibition catalogue and is intended to lead a parallel and independent existence alongside the exhibition itself. Edited by assistant curator Anna C. Bleuler and artist Michael G\u00fcnzburger, this paperback invites us to delve into the details, revealing the richness and profusion of textures in the artist’s work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Special attention is paid to the NEW IMPRESSIONISMS<\/em> Manifesto, written by artist Leila Peacock at the the States-General of Printmaking in Art round table discussion, What do we print next?<\/em><\/a>, during which eight experts from the fields of visual arts, art history, printing, design and collecting discussed the role of printed art today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
