It was founded by the Society of Master Engravers with the goal of developing students\u2019 artistic skills, particularly through studying drawing and ornamentation. Its engraving class saw major success in the early 20<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0century. To this day, the school trains engravers for the watch industry.
