The unique properties of each material \u2013 resistance, volatility, elasticity, friction \u00ad- form the pretext for a new kind of experimentation.\u00a0<strong>300 prepared dc-motors, 27 kg wood<\/strong>, is an installation created specifically for the museum. It consists of 300 mechanically-jointed wooden sticks. This monumental structure is nonetheless organic: each element moves entirely autonomously, and the repetitive, stilted movements suggest the rhythm of breath.
