In the era of globalised digital industries, digital art is becoming a space for resistance, hope and new narratives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fictions and utopias are becoming narratives that run counter to the increasingly real dystopias of the present. Designed in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.biennalenemo.fr\/en\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">N\u00e9mo<\/a> biennial at CENTQUATRE-PARIS, the <a href=\"https:\/\/ccsparis.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Swiss Cultural Centre<\/a>, the virtual platform <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbal.ch\/en\/orbit-e\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ORBIT_E<\/a> of the Mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts Le Locle \u2013 MBAL (Switzerland) and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cwb.fr\/agenda\/biennale-nova-xx-2024\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">NOVA_XX<\/a> biennial of the <a href=\"https:\/\/cwb.fr\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Centre Wallonie Bruxelles<\/a> (CWB), this day offers a programme of screenings, artist meetings and performances to sketch out more desirable futures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Programme:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6pm \u2013 Round table: Nature, a utopian environment for creation<\/strong><br>With artists from the exhibition Les illusions retrouv\u00e9es at CENTQUATRE-PARIS, moderated by Gilles Alvarez, artistic director of the N\u00e9mo biennial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Marc Lee<\/strong>, artist born in 1969, lives and works in Switzerland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Phygital Studio<\/strong>, a company incubated at 104factory that produces works at the intersection of technology and nature, Paris<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Isma\u00ebl Joffroy Chandoutis<\/strong>, born in 1988, lives and works between Paris and Brussels<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NeoConsortium<\/strong>, a project and collective of artists created in 2014 and based in Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>7:15 p.m. \u2013 Round table: Immaterial art in a material world<\/strong><br>Moderated by Tadeo Kohan, curator at the Swiss Cultural Centre, Paris<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Marlene Wenger<\/strong>, curator at the Haus der Elektronischen K\u00fcnste, H.E.K, Basel, Switzerland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Kika Nicolela<\/strong>, artist and curator for <a href=\"https:\/\/objkt.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">objkt.com<\/a> and for the ORBIT_E 2025 capsule, MBAL, Switzerland, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/doomscrolling.net\/\">doomscrolling\u00bb&gt;<\/a><\/em>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Federica Chiocchetti<\/strong>, director of the Mus\u00e9e des Beaux-Arts Le Locle, Switzerland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>St\u00e9phanie P\u00e9court<\/strong>, director of the Centre Wallonie-Bruxelles and founder of the NOVA_XX biennial, Paris<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>6pm-10pm \u2013 Focus ORBIT_E:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Launched in 2022, the ORBIT_E digital platform is a virtual online extension of the MBAL that extends and complements the artistic programming presented at the museum. During this evening, the digital works from the ORBIT_E platform will be accessible on a dedicated computer : <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbal.ch\/en\/orbite-offline\/lauren-huret-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">L\u2019hypnose du Jardin<\/a><\/em> by Lauren Huret, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbal.ch\/en\/orbite-offline\/salvatore-vitale\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Decompressed Prism<\/a><\/em> by Salvatore Vitale, <em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mbal.ch\/en\/orbite-offline\/alfatih\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ssloop.life<\/a><\/em> by alfatih and <em><a href=\"https:\/\/doomscrolling.net\/\">doomscrolling\u00bb><\/a><\/em> by Canek Zapata in collaboration with 27 artists<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>9 p.m. \u2013 Participatory Performance by Lauren Huret \u2013 <em>The Garden Hypnosis<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The Garden Hypnosis<\/strong> is a collective hypnosis performance based on a pre-existing video by the artist, which traces a journey through a fantasized Garden of Eden. The text, read live, will guide you through an inner exploration of these psychedelic landscapes: a waking dream experience in which you are the hero or heroine.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The performance lasts between 40 and 45 minutes. Tickets must be reserved in advance, though a few spots will be available on the night of the event. The artist invites participants to fully commit and maintain their focus throughout the session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No prior knowledge of hypnosis is required to take part.
