Guided tour, performance in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.danse-neuchatel.ch\/2023\/\">Association Danse Neuch\u00e2tel (ADN)<\/a>, and aperitif are on the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Free entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-white-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-white-background-color has-background\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About <a href=\"https:\/\/www.danse-neuchatel.ch\/2024\/vaca\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">VACA<\/a>, a performance by Anna Chirescu in collaboration with ADN<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Immersed in the heart of the <em>animal instinct \/ animal instinct <\/em>exhibition, two dancers embody &#8220;the cow&#8221; literally and figuratively, from the prehistoric, bucolic, debonair image to the degrading qualifiers and industrial treatments, &#8220;chosifying&#8221; the animal to the extreme. Here, dance restores gentleness to bovine movements and rekindles tenderness in the gaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trained at the Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=&amp;ved=2ahUKEwi28pPpmKWDAxW08rsIHZB9CkgQFnoECAYQAQ&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fannachirescu.com%2F&amp;usg=AOvVaw01Qxvr8tnJe33z-eFKVvss&amp;opi=89978449\">Anna Chirescu<\/a><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>has performed with Jean-Claude Galotta, Daniel Larrieu and Bill Young. At the Centre National de Danse Contemporaine d&#8217;Angers (director Robert Swinston, 2013-20), she danced Merce Cunningham&#8217;s repertoire, in France and abroad. Since 2017, she has worked with visual artist Gr\u00e9goire Schaller on pieces combining dance and visual arts (<em>Les Indolents<\/em>, 2017 ; <em>Dirty Dancers<\/em>, 2018 ; <em>Ordeal by water<\/em>, 2023). In 2022, she will create <em>VACA<\/em> at L&#8217;Etoile du Nord.
